As a very informed and practical couple, we wanted to go into the experience with a clear understanding of what to expect—and a steady, positive presence by our side. We also really hoped to keep the vibes lighthearted, and Tonya did exactly that—keeping smiles on our faces and offering constant encouragement when we needed it most.
She shared valuable resources, stayed in touch via text as our due date approached, and made our in-person visit especially helpful by walking us through comfort measures and how my partner could best support me during labor. When it came time for delivery, she was a calm, grounding presence—keeping me cool, hydrated, and focused so I could fully concentrate on laboring.
