Because this was my first pregnancy, I knew there was so much I didn't know on what to expect and how to prepare. I was so grateful for the way she assisted me in developing my birth preferences, and then following through by serving as an advocate of them when I was finally in labor.
When it was go-time, Allison was incredible in coaching my husband on how to offer me support. She helped me make hard decisions that honored my preferences and needs when things were not going as planned.
