I had such a great experience working with Victoria! As a first time mom, pregnancy, labour, and delivery made me feel overwhelmed and underprepared. I wanted a doula primarily to have someone in my "corner" at the hospital who I knew before going into it as you never know who will be on call on the day you give birth. Victoria was not only great at being that person when the time came, but me and my husband really loved all the education and knowledge of what could happen beforehand. She helped us put together birth wishes and understand the different scenarios (lots of which I never knew existed). When labour finally did set in, she was very encouraging and checked in often to see how I was doing. Overall we felt very supported and I loved how she offered a different perspective than a lot of the medical-model voices you often hear. You can tell she cares a lot about what she does so if you're looking for that added support, I'd high recommend hiring her!
