Hailey was an incredible doula and truly a vital part of my birth experience. From the very beginning, she provided thoughtful, evidence-based education that helped me feel confident in my birth plan and prepared for what to expect. She took the time to make sure both my husband and I felt informed, supported, and empowered, which made a huge difference for us as a team.
During labor, Hailey was calm, attentive, and incredibly skilled. She not only supported me physically and emotionally, but also helped guide my husband in how to best support me, which meant so much to both of us. One of the most valuable things she offered was giving me the language and tools to communicate effectively with medical staff (things I did not know and I am an RN). When I was in intense pain and feeling overwhelmed, she helped me advocate for my wishes in a way that ensured I was heard and respected.
I truly believe her presence helped me avoid an emergency C-section. There were moments where the medical team was trying to move things along more quickly than I was comfortable with, and Hailey helped me navigate those conversations with confidence and clarity. Because of her, I was able to have the experience and relief I was hoping for.
In the end, my birth was beautiful and empowering—more than I could have asked for. Hailey is knowledgeable, professional, and deeply compassionate. She seamlessly became a key member of our birthing team. I am so grateful for her support and absolutely plan to work with her again for future births.
