It was a delight to get to work with Rachael! She was our doula for the the birth of our daughter, our first baby, and offered kind, calm, informed support and resources through the prenatal, during birth, and postpartum period. We so appreciated the time she took to meet with us to prepare for birth and she took the time to get to know us. She met us at our level and during the birth was a supportive presence, honoring, supporting, and advocating for our preferences while being integrated into the health care team. She had a wealth of resources and referrals and helped to connect us with lactation support when we needed it. In the postpartum period, having her come offered relief and opportunity for rest.
