Working with Danielle as our doula was truly one of the best decisions we made for our birth experience. From pregnancy through delivery and even into postpartum, her support and guidance were absolutely incredible.
As someone who went into pregnancy and birth with quite a few fears, Danielle had a calming and reassuring way of explaining everything that immediately eased my worries. She made sure my husband and I understood what to expect during birth and how he could best support me, which allowed him to be such an active and confident partner during labor.
When labor began, Danielle coached us while we were still at home, helping us recognize the different stages and encouraging positions and movements to help labor progress. Her guidance was invaluable and helped us stay home as long as possible while still feeling supported. The positions and movement techniques she suggested worked incredibly well, and I genuinely believe her coaching played a big role in how fast and smooth my labor and delivery were.
Once we arrived at the hospital, Danielle continued to be an amazing presence. She was the perfect balance of cheerleader and grounding force, offering encouragement and reassurance that helped me stay focused and ultimately pursue the unmedicated birth I had hoped for.
Another added surprise was that Danielle’s support didn’t stop after delivery. She has continued to check in regularly during the postpartum period, which has been so appreciative as a first-time mom. Having her expertise and reassurance during this transition has been incredibly helpful.
Overall, I truly cannot imagine my birthing experience without Danielle. Her knowledge, encouragement, and calm presence made such a positive impact on our journey. My husband and I are already looking forward to working with her again for future births!
