We worked with Valerie for our first baby and she is truly the best postpartum doula imagineable. As soon as I met her, I felt like she provided the tenderness and warmth of my mom. She is punctual, flexible, has great hygiene (masks and hand-washing), and was always happy to support the household in whatever way is needed most. She asked me if I had a preference for how she spend her time at our home, and in the event that I was asleep when she arrived, she just took care of whatever needed caring for, whether it was our baby, folding laundry, doing dishes, or making me a smoothie. Valerie was a joy to have her in our home. Our chats became a highlight of my day and really helped me through the postpartum stage. If we're lucky enough to have another baby, I hope she'll be available to care for us again.
