Stacey was a pillar through the labour and birth of our baby girl. I entered this labour with trepidation since my first labour had been extremely long and difficult, but Stacey was reassuring and confident, which helped steady me. Her experience and knowledge and practical presence were all highly appreciated as she introduced different positions and helped me take on each stage of labour. She kept the mood light and helped my husband stay calm and involved as well. In the throes of pushing when I struggled to keep calm and not give way to trauma responses, she was able to see I needed a focus point and helped me find that. I also knew all along we had an advocate who would make sure our desires and choices were respected. Highly recommend her to anyone!
