We recently toured the … hospital in Houston. It’s huge, and honestly I didn’t feel very comfortable there. Now I completely understand why many women choose birth centers. Also, the almost two-hour drive definitely doesn’t feel worth it. We decided to stay local and plan for … Hospital. It’s not perfect, but it’s small and only about 15 minutes from our house, which feels much better.

I also want you to know how much I learned from your guide and even from our initial consultation. You are truly very professional and knowledgeable in what you do. I deeply admire people like you — it feels rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about their work nowadays.

I still remember our first consultation on January 13th because after that conversation I actually felt deeply happy and confident about being pregnant. Thank you for your energy and for helping me see that once you understand birth, it becomes much less scary.

I’ve spoken with a few doulas around the … area, and honestly none of them come close to the level of knowledge and support you provide.

At this point I will still need to choose someone locally soon, mainly to help support me during contractions and keep me distracted from the pain.
