Kerry is absolutely amazing! As first time parents (and being a little older at 39), my husband and I really liked the idea of having a doula to help navigate all the options and learn about the process. I had talked to a few doulas but as soon as I talked to Kerry, I felt like I clicked with her. She is the perfect blend of knowledgable, capable, gentle and caring. She supports whatever choices you make and has a lot of wisdom and insight to offer suggestions. I had a straight forward pregnancy but ended up developing preeclampsia so a lot of my first choice preferences were not possible - I was SO thankful I had Kerry to navigate that process. I was able ask questions, push back a little on certain interventions, and ultimately I felt like I still had a say in the birth process while also making sure my baby was not at risk. It was such an empowering and magical experience. I have no regrets whatsoever even though things unfolded differently than I had hoped. My husband also loved that there was someone he could look to so he would know what to do :) If we are fortunate enough to have another baby, we will be working with Kerry again!!
