Charity has blessed our family twice now! She first helped me through a long birth ending in using an epidural- she stayed by my side through it all. This second time she helped me achieve a natural birth! She truly was irreplaceable in her role for the birth of our son. She provided great counsel before the birth. Her skills as a doula were very evident as she helped me cope with labor including providing counter pressure, helping me safe and modest so that I could stay "in the labor zone," and confidently reminding of my goals and options to overcome labor pains. My husband was able to be emotional support more as Charity helped with a lot of the hands on work. I feel that Charity's peace and presence during labor kept the hospital staff peaceful also, something very important for the low intervention birth I desired. I am so thankful to Charity. She is relaxed, kind, and supportive. I would highly recommend her to anyone. My husband also highly recommends her and appreciated all of the support she gave us!
