In July 2025 we welcomed our daughter and despite having rare overnight help, we were in over our heads with trying to figure out how to sleep and function after my wife's c-section. After some frantic Googling, we realized we had access to postpartum doula services through my wife's fertility coverage. It only covered up to 6 weeks of age and we had a 3 week old! Ah! We found Sarah through a Facebook group for nannies and she was responsive and prompt and we were able to virtually meet right away. Her EMT training was a huge comfort to us and her easygoing nature really put us at ease. That she was a mother as well was meaningful to us.
Sarah cared for our daughter for several nights spread out over a few weeks and it was an absolute lifesaver. We were able to stagger our sleep and get eight entire hours of sleep each. It was a miracle. A gamechanger! And even though our daughter was gassy and grumpy most nights, Sarah was upbeat, kind, and always had something sweet to say about her. Sarah even made time for us on the week of her wedding!
Sarah is punctual, professional, has a great sense of humor, and took our new parent energy in stride. We were able to get some crucial rest because we had immediate trust for her while she was caring for our daughter. I didn't lose a wink of sleep leaving her in Sarah's care.
We recently hired Sarah again for our very first date night and our daughter loved spending time with her!
