As first-time parents, the thought of caring for a little human was exciting but also came with so many questions and anxieties. From the moment Isabella walked into our home, she brought so much care, calm, and love with her. What was originally supposed to be one month of support quickly turned into four and a half months — which really says it all about how invaluable she was to our family.
She helped us gain confidence in caring for our little boy in ways no book or class ever could. Isabella made sure not only that Luca was taken care of, but that we were too. During my postpartum phase, she was such an incredible source of emotional support — reassuring, grounding, and always showing up exactly how I needed.
Her time with us was truly priceless. She became so much more than our doula; she became a friend. It makes me so happy knowing she was one of Luca’s very first friends — and one of the first people he ever smiled at. That alone says so much about the warmth and love she brings.
We will miss her so much, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her. Isabella is truly special and we are lucky to have had her as part of our journey to parenthood.
