I am a single mom, so Michelle was my main support person during my birth. Baby was breech so it ended up being c-section, and I went into labour early so it was an emergency c-section. Michelle was a wealth of knowledge prior to knowing it was going to be a c-section. She went through every possible outcome and choice I would have so nothing at any point felt like a surprise. Swaddling is weirdly hard, and even though it was still hard when I actually had to do it, the practice I had with her on a doll was insanely helpful.
When it was go time she helped calm my panic when my water broke, and was solid calming presence in the operating room. She took amazing pictures and videos at the hospital so even though that whole day was a blur, I have so much to look back on to remember.
Michelle is such a warm person and very experienced, I am so grateful that I was able to have her as a resource and support during my pregnancy and birth!
