We are so incredibly thankful to have had Eleanor join us in this journey and to prepare to welcome our baby.
Eleanor met with us prior to the delivery and helped us navigate different scenarios (vaginal delivery and C-section), providing us with valuable information and encouraging us to think about questions for our care team. She also helped us create a customized birth plan that we were able to discuss with everyone involved.
As the date arrived and we were confirmed to have a C-section, she was able to enter the OR with me and guided me through breathing exercises, holding my hand and narrating what she saw. She also helped my husband work through his own emotions, so that he could be present for me.
After the delivery, she checked in several times, in person and via text, to see how the recovery was going and to help answer any questions we had.
Working with Eleanor was a true pleasure. She offered compassionate care and we felt nurtured and heard. I would definitely recommend her services to any parent-to-be!
