Testimonial for Abigail Lyon

Abigail Lyon is an exceptional doula! She was there with me during both of my daughters births. She met with us before to go over our birth plan, preferences and different pain management techniques. I desired a natural birth with minimal medical interventions. She shared great information with us and gave my husband many different ways to help me through each contraction. My first daughter was born in the hospital. It was not the best experience because of the hospital staff and policy, but having Abigail there as my doula made such a big difference! She intervened on my behalf, gave counter pressure when needed, encouraged me with every contraction, and even assisted me with showering afterwards. My second daughter was born at a birthing center. The day before when I thought I was in labor, she spent hours with me trying to get me to progress. I am so thankful for her time and energy that day. The next day when I was in true labor, she was there promptly and ready to go! The experience was drastically different but Abigail still helped so much. She helped with counter pressure at the exact moments I needed them without me even having to ask. We love Abigail and we highly recommend using her for some of the most important and special moments of your lives!
