Jean was respectful and communicated as needed even when nurses weren't as acceptable or kind to her. She interacted very well with my providers and my providers were good to her as well.
From the very beginning of my induction to the moment I delivered, Jean never left my side. She was my calm in the middle of the storm, keeping me grounded when things got overwhelming and reminding me of the strength I already had. She encouraged me, reassured me, and pushed me to stay committed to my birth plan and because of her guidance and unwavering support, I was able to achieve my goal of birthing without medication.
Jean isn’t just a doula; she’s a gift. Her presence, knowledge, and compassion made all the difference in one of the most challenging yet transformative moments of my life. She not only supported my journey, but she also inspired me to consider pursuing birth work myself that’s how impactful she is.
