Testimonial for Rejeanna Bonnett
Anytime, I reflect on or share about my birth, I tell everyone "I ,of course, couldn't have done it without my husband, but the both of us couldn't have done it without Rejeanna!!" And it couldn't be more true! She supported my birth in every aspect I needed, and I didn't even know what I would need, yet she met every need with compassion, attenativeness, and encouragement! She provided me the most tender emotional support, speaking my birth affirmation over me with the most peaceful voice. She would talk with me and guide me through contractions as well as decisions (big and small). She was a huge source of spiritual support, with reminders of God's design over this experience. She prayed over us, me, and our baby out loud, and it brought so much peace over me. And of course the physical support (literally at my side, I was so comforted by her). I was someone who found comfort in the presence others during the intense parts of labor. My husband reminded me afterward how Rejeanna never left my side! He was so grateful for her. My biggest recommendation for any expecting momma, is to hire a doula!!! Yes, my husband was an incredible source of comfort and support, but even he agrees that we will have a doula (hopefully Rejeanna) present at every birth moving forward.
