Jesse is an absolutely wonderful doula and human being! To me, she set the standard for postpartum support, going above and beyond in ways that felt thoughtful, sweet, and genuinely caring. I had a c-section, and from the very first night, Jesse made both me and our baby feel completely cared for. She treated our little one with incredible tenderness throughout our two weeks together and even cut his fingernails without us asking in one of her last nights with us. She anticipated my needs in ways I didn’t even realize I had. She was proactive about chores, always looking for ways to help around the house, and it was such a joy to go to sleep to a messy house and wake up to a clean, organized home. Plus, she brought me breakfast each morning, cleaned my pump parts, and offered a wealth of knowledge and support in terms of recovering from a c-section and breastfeeding. She even brought us homemade bread a few times, which was such a sweet touch. Her presence is a rare combination of warmth, professionalism, and thoughtfulness. Her attention to detail is fantastic. I’ve worked with more than one doula, and Jesse is the one I’ll always turn to whenever we need overnight care for our son. She’s truly a delight to be cared for by, and any family would be lucky to have her.
