My wife and I had the *absolute pleasure & blessing of working with Julie* throughout pregnancy, the birth of our daughter, and the very important hours/ days/ weeks thereafter and could not have had a better experience. *JULIE IS INCREDIBLE* at what she does. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, helpful, and respectful. We had a great feeling about her after our first meeting...and then after we met in person a few months before the due date, it was clear that Julie is a Doula black belt!! She spent 3 hours with us at our home walking through personalized strategies for a smoother / healthier pregnancy, detailed options for birth experiences, helping us hand craft our birth plan (and a back up birth plan for an alternative situation), answered so many of our questions and really helped educate us. We remember when she left our home that evening we felt 10x more comfortable and thought: WOW, that is what the healthcare industry is missing! On the day our daughter was born, Julie was so amazing for my wife, our little girl, and I... she met us at the facility, helped comfort and encourage my wife (and me!), walked and talked us through some very intense moments/ decisions, and seriously CRUSHED it. She took pics on our behalf to help us capture the most special moments of our lives. We cannot say enough good things about the experience. We could both go on and on, but one final note: Julie is an extremely competent communicator and just has that unique element where she is instantly comfortable to be around - she felt like a (very wise, handpicked!) part of our family.
