This was especially important as my path included last-minute changes and unexpected twists. I can’t fully express just how comforting that consistency was during such a vulnerable time.
Postpartum, Cash cared for me in ways that made me feel nurtured beyond words and was able to intuit my needs. They brought me breakfast and snacks in bed while I was recovering... had warm herbal tea ready in a carafe for me to enjoy throughout the day... even vacuumed and tidied up when my hands were full with the baby, and so much more. When everyone else comes to see and spoil the baby, Cash is there to see and care for you as a mother, and that makes all the difference.
