I had experienced prodromal contractions and Luipa made specific recommendations on how I could help my baby get into position for the delivery which, I think, really helped!
What meant the most to me was how deeply she understood and respected my desire for a natural birth. In the delivery room, she gently and confidently helped me honor the birth experience I hoped for, advocating when needed and offering steady, grounding support throughout.
Her presence was truly calming. During such an intense and vulnerable experience, she brought reassurance, steadiness, and warmth. Even the nurses at our hospital commented on how much they enjoyed working with her — which speaks volumes about her professionalism and collaborative approach.
We also deeply admire that she dedicates her time to supporting women experiencing domestic violence. That commitment says so much about her heart and the kind of person she is — someone who shows up for women not just as a profession, but as a calling.
We couldn’t imagine our birth experience without her and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family.
