When searching for a doula for our daughter's birth, it was important to us that we found someone who is experienced, evidence-based, and simply someone we connected with for such an important moment of our lives. We really appreciated Sharon's science background and we learned a lot from her during our prenatal appointments. We were also able to joke around and laugh with her too, which put us at ease. I was really hoping for an unmedicated birth and Sharon was fully supportive of that dream and provided helpful resources and encouragement. Although we experienced a few curveballs and ended up with a c-section, Sharon provided the reassurance I needed to help me feel like I was making the right decision for myself and my baby.
