Rejeanna served as our doula during the birth of my daughter. As a first time mother, I was nervous and had no idea what to expect despite much research and preparation. I thought I was ready, but when the time came, I got overwhelmed and forgot everything.
My water broke and my labor started to ramp up quickly. Rejeanna met us at the hospital as soon as we got there and was my right hand woman! She created such a safe and comfortable environment and we connected right away despite only meeting briefly on a zoom meeting beforehand. Rejeanna was so encouraging to both myself and my husband and seemed to always be 5 steps ahead of us in the best way! She provided plenty of information and gave me tons of options when it came to positioning and delivery preparation. She was able to answer any questions I had (and some even before I asked), and made me feel so empowered and in control of my labor. She was hands on when I needed her to be and knew exactly when to be hands off without me needing to direct her. I could tell that she knew exactly what she was doing and it instilled so much confidence in her and in myself. I truly do not know what I would have done without her.
I believe that having Rejeanna as my doula positively impacted my labor and delivery and made it enjoyable, comfortable, and even fun!
Rejeanna is personable and easy to connect with and my husband and I enjoyed her presence at our daughter's birth. I would 100 percent work with her again and am planning on it for baby number 2 when that time comes. If you are hesitant to hire a doula, specifically Rejeanna, I would HIGHLY encourage you to do so even if you're well educated in labor and delivery and know what to expect! The calm environment and peace of mind she provides is well worth it and is such an amazing gift to yourself and your baby. I would give her a billion stars if I could!
