We had the pleasure to have Shelia be our doula on the day of my labor. We cannot recommend her enough! We felt prepared when we arrived for our induction, but then my body had other plans. Shelia stayed up all night with me helping me rotate side to side. Helped me through contractions and when I needed guidance she was there. She listened and advocated and was exactly what we needed on the day of. She even made a wonderful birth story and timeline after the birth, which was amazing. She took photos during the labor too (which initially I didn't think I would want, but absolutely LOVED looking back and seeing the photos) I cried looking back at them.
My labor was very different from what any of the classes had prepared for, but Shelia made me feel confident that I could navigate those days.
I could not recommend her enough! Hiring her was the best decision!
