Working with Sophia was a true gift for our family. Preparing for our first child, my wife and I weren't quite sure what to expect, but we knew we wanted the support of someone who would listen without judgement and provide evidence based advice and care throughout birth and those initial postpartum days. As a queer, Fat, interfaith couple, we're pretty selective about the people we bring into our bubble for senstive things like birth. We could not have picked a better doula for our family. Sophia walked with us through from child birth education class, birth prep, a very long labor, and postpartum care. They helped me create a birth plan that reflected my hopes and respected my boundaries, and when circumstances during labor dictated that that plan needed to change Sophia was right there to guide me through it with confidence and compassion. Even all our nurses and doctor remarked on what a great doula they are!! Would recommend Sophia to absolutely anyone.
