I have always been intrigued by the idea of working with a doula. My first delivery was not according to my plan (as births often go) and when I got pregnant with my second I decided I wanted to try something different. Andrea helped provide information, resources, and encouragement throughout my pregnancy to help me prepare for my goal of an unmedicated delivery. When the day came, she advocated for my wishes in the delivery room, provided gentle encouragement, and gave my husband much needed guidance so he could be an active birth partner. With her help I accomplished my unmedicated goal and brought our beautiful daughter into the world in a much quicker and less stressful way. I can't recommend her enough!
