I could not have gotten through labor and delivery without Julie. When my plans for a homebirth changed very quickly to a hospital induction at 35 weeks, Julie helped prepare me for what to expect. She was extremely knowledgeable about the process, medications, and even took the time to look into the hospital c section and NICU policies so I'd be prepared for all situations.
Throughout my pregnancy, Julie checked in with me every week. She provided reccomendations for any problems I was having and sent me weekly exercise videos to prepare for birth. She put together a packet of information about labor positions, hospital bags, postpartum nutrition etc. and taught my husband a few support techniques for labor.
During labor, she provided me with movement suggestions, supported me through contractions with hip squeezes, and reminded me to focus on my breath. She helped me advocate for specific thingsg on my birth plan and stayed vigilant in making sure it was followed. She sat with me after I delivered and was a great comfort to me when my husband and baby were taken to the NICU.
Julie provided me with physical and emotional support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and even postpartum. She is an amazing doula and a caring human being. I would not hesitate to reccomend her services to anyone!!
