I am so grateful for all of the incredible support Robin provided to both me and my husband leading up to, during, and after the birth of my son. She possesses an incredible ability to put you at ease, which is rooted in her genuine and caring nature. I felt more comfortable immediately upon her joining my care team as a doula. During the labor, she was so diligent in making sure the medical team knew my preferences for the birth plan, which relieved the burden from me at having to articulate or advocate for my preferences, allowed me to focus while in labor, and enabled more of my plan to come to fruition. She was supportive of my husband during the labor as well, who appreciated her open line of communication , and interest in his comfort and needs as well. She also helped to ensure that I understood what was being explained to me by the medical team, which was absolutely critical because so much of my mental energy was focused internally that hearing things a second time from her helped me to truly understand my options and make decisions. Robin was also incredibly sweet in following up with me postpartum and went above and beyond with being an empathetic ear when I needed it. That is what stands out most to me about Robin; she is a judgment free, champion empathizer, which makes her an absolutely amazing doula.
