We loved having Liz as our birth and postpartum doula for our first child, born in August 2025. For prenatal visits, Liz always offered topics and options, customizing each meeting to whatever was on our mind leading up to delivery. I’m someone who loves handouts and “homework,” so her teacher approach was perfect for me. She is genuinely eager for feedback, which made it clear she wanted our experience to be exactly what we needed.
Liz is easygoing and calm, which is what my partner and I were looking for in terms of support during delivery. She helped us consider options as induction and then labor progressed and I generally just felt so supported and had a great birth experience despite some stressful moments. She was also wonderful with the hospital staff — personable and friendly, while being respectful of everyone’s role. She fit right in with the care team.
For postpartum support, the weekly overnight care was an absolute lifesaver — both for getting some sleep and for reassurance as new parents. We could get through the hard nights knowing there was relief each week. Before heading to bed Liz would check in with us, ask how we were feeling, answer basic (and nervous) questions, and generally help us feel like we were doing a good job. I truly can’t say enough good things about having postpartum support.
Highly recommend Liz, and I hope we get to have her as our doula again. <3
