Testimonial for Paige Carignan
My experience with Paige as my birth doula, was simply God-ordained. I was 34 weeks with my third baby when I decided to switch providers. I had been considering a doula but could not afford to get one. A friend of mine found Paige on Facebook, she was gifting her services to a few women to fulfill her certification requirement. At the time my friend sent me another doula who was doing the same thing. I interviewed with them both, and my first conversation with Paige was just so effortlessly affirming that she was my doula hand selected for me. I am so honored to say, that though this was my last baby, it was Paige's first baby. I think being paired with someone so eager and hungry for the knowledge and experience was such a gift. She brought so much joy to the final weeks of carrying my sweet boy. We were determined that he was going to come early, but for some reason the more babies I have the longer they take to arrive. Paige was always ready and willing to come get the process going. She showed me so many approaches to helping baby move and shift so that both and and baby had a comfortable labor. I remember being annoyed with all of the messages and advice at one point, but Inthink back at how blessed we were to have one another in this process as she was learning. Paige was very attentive and for the days leading up to his birthday, she had the labor and delivery playlist ready. It helped me in so many ways. During delivery she had all of my wants and needs down to a T. She worked well with my midwife and nurse team. She recorded special moments for us to remember and she guided my husband through techniques we'd been working on. I'm so grateful for Paige as my doula and know that she does this because she is called to.
