We were so lucky to have Fiona as our overnight postpartum doula for the first 8 weeks of baby! She was very responsive to emails, calls and texts. Asked clarifying questions with the intent to better support needs ahead of time without having to ask in the moment (i.e. during initial assessment of how we'd like stuff handled or if I wanted to skip a feeding session to sleep more she knew how much to feed baby in a bottle).
When witching hour started she was a trooper and handled baby's upset tummy and gas problems for hours with no complaint. She would observe me with baby and asked if I would like some recommendations which was very respectful. She provided great tips on how to relieve gas, adjust position during let downs to minimize air which leads to gas and shared other resources to look into if I needed more external support.
She was also very punctual and would often check in if I needed anything like a snack, water or a listening ear. She's definitely a contributing factor to why I was able to get more sleep this postpartum and would highly recommend for anyone looking for an overnight doula!!
