My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience with Bianca! She was so helpful througout the entire process of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It was our first baby so we had zero experience, and Bianca's expertise made us feel so safe and secure. During pregnancy, she helped us to create a solid birth plan based on our wishes and was more than happy to answer any and all of my questions (and there were lots lol). She never made me feel silly whenever I would go to her about any concerns I had about birth. When I went into active labor in the middle of the night at 39 weeks, Bianca wasted no time in getting to our house and helping me through contractions. I was in labor for a total of 30 hours (I hold the record for the longest birth she has attended so far, heck yeah!) and she was there with us at the hospital the entire time providing support and encouragement, despite being a pumping mama of two littles herself. I ended up having a c-section due to baby's cord being wrapped around his neck, and I am so grateful to Bianca for calming both my nerves and my fiancé's nerves as they quickly prepped me for surgery. Not only that, but she even advocated to make sure that she was in the OR by our sides during our baby's birth. Postpartum, she helped me to navigate all of the things, including validating/talking through my feelings around having a difficult birth. Overall, we are so glad we hired her as our doula and would definitely recommend her to anyone we know going through pregnancy and birth!
