We were introduced to Alaska later on in our second pregnancy and wished we had met her sooner. She is a very valuable and down-to-earth resource pre-birth both based on her vast knowledge of pregnacy-related questions and also for introductions to other consultants (e.g., lactation consultant, chiropractor, oral surgeon, etc.). She was also very helpful in prompting us to think through our ideal birth experience, so that she could ensure that we get it on the day of when we knew we would be stressed and distracted. Post-partum she was very responsive and helpful with advice for recovery and breastfeeding. Throughout the entire journey, she felt both like a friend and a doula! We highly recommend her to anyone who wants to hire a doula.
