Sarah was a strong, calming presence on our birth team. After a previous birth where we felt a bit lost, unsupported, and unheard/unseen, she was exactly what we needed this time around. She made me feel incredibly supported and empowered throughout the entire process. Something that was very important to me was that my husband felt prepared and confident in helping me during early labor compared to last time and Sarah made sure he was! And it actually did help me through my entire labor and made the world of a difference for me. She was always one step ahead, anticipating our needs and suggesting things we hadn't even thought of. She is very professional but at the same time I felt like she was a good friend helping us feel supported through such an important time in our lives. She also constantly reminded us that we can speak up and advocate for ourselves. If you have interviewed with Sarah and are considering choosing her as your doula, you cannot go wrong by saying yes!!
