Eve is an exceptional Doula!
We recently had our first child, and we had wavered back and forth around whether we wanted to have a Doula. After meeting with Eve, we instantly felt supported and that working with her as our Doula was the right choice for us. Our experience leading up to and during the birth of our child reinforced we made the right decision.
In the weeks leading up to my due date, Eve visited us multiple times to check in on how we were doing, go over helpful tips and tricks to prepare us better for when our child was born, and when needed, a relaxing massage!
When it was finally time to go to the hospital, Eve arrived before us and made sure the room was fully setup to my liking. Mood lighting from electric candles, different beverages to keep me hydrated, and helped me relax into my space. This was huge for me as it took away a lot of nerves and helped me try and focus on active labour.
Eve was also another voice in the room advocating on my behalf. Whether it was warm blankets, more fluids, alerted staff to anything important, she was there, taking that burden off my shoulders. When I was finally ready to push, she never left my side and helped me through until finally our son was born.
My partner and I could not have been happier that we were able to have Eve there as our Doula. We know that the experience and hardships we faced would have been so much harder on us without Eve by our side.
If you are considering bringing a Doula into your care team, Eve is one of the best out there and you will not be disappointed.
