I am soooo grateful for Lisa’s expertise, calm presence, and gentle guidance throughout my labor and birth. She has many tools in her toolbox — including literal objects that made labor just a little bit easier and more manageable (especially the TENS unit and a pair of spiky balls that I held onto for dear life). Lisa came to the hospital right as labor was starting and stayed after birth to help us get settled into the post-labor room, which made such a difference during that transition.
She created a space where I felt completely supported to do whatever felt right for my body, while also making everything more comfortable with cold towels, warm bath, encouraging words, and an incredible ability to anticipate what I needed before I even asked. Lisa was also a huge support for my partner, helping them feel grounded and confident throughout the experience.
I truly can’t speak highly enough of Lisa as a birth doula and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, and steady support during birth.
