It was the best decision we could have made—the water eventually broke naturally, and the active pushing stage lasted less than an hour!
Beyond the 'big' decisions, she was a constant advocate in the room. She worked seamlessly with the hospital staff, leading the nurses in position changes that kept me as comfortable as possible. What touched us most was her dedication; while my partner and I were able to get some much-needed sleep, she stayed awake all night monitoring the vitals and keeping a watchful eye on everything. We feel so lucky to have had her by our side to welcome our sweet baby boy.
