I never imagined I would want a doula for my birth. Looking back, I absolutely needed Emily. My birth took so many turns as I was induced, and without Emily as my doula, I believe my experience would have been much more difficult. Emily planned with me different techniques not only for pain management, but also exercises to help bring baby down.
