Chessa was truly an amazing presence and support system to have at my first baby's birth! She is calm, confident, and so reassuring. I wanted to have a homebirth, but unfortunately had to be induced at 38 weeks. Chessa came to the hospital with me and helped me navigate through options that best fit my original birth plan as closely as possible. During active labor, her knowledge continued with helping me get through contractions and helping guide my significant other into helping me too.
I will forever cherish the support she provided after the birth and the placenta print she made for us in the hospital. It's so cool and can't wait to get it framed.
