We used the Student package and were blown away by the experience. Patty was absolutely incredible. She made me feel heard and safe, took initiative, and is ultimately the reason my very scary near-precipitous birth ended as a peaceful, painless experience - because she knew what my fears were, knew my desires, and advocated hard for me. She was also a big support to my husband in the room, making sure he was cared for as well. We went into this thinking having a doula couldn't hurt, and now we can't even imagine what it would have been like without her.
