We highly recommend Joann! As first time parents, I had a lot of anxiety and really wanted someone there who could advocate for me. Joann worked closely with my husband and I to ensure we both understood all of the possibilities surrounding labour, birth and postpartum.
When I went into labour, Joann was easy to reach and supportive throughout. She dropped off supplies to our home that I used for pain management. Once it was time to head to the hospital, she stayed by our side providing support, asking the nurses questions and taking amazing photos.
My labour was very long with a few twists and turns, but I never felt overwhelmed thanks to the preparation that we had done together. I was able to make educated choices that I was comfortable with and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby! We will always be grateful for Joann’s services!
