She shared resources, checked in often to see how I was doing, and gave us so much information about birth, postpartum, and what to expect. Her in-person visits made everything feel less overwhelming and helped us prepare in a thoughtful and grounded way.
My birth did not look the way I expected, and it was one of the hardest experiences of my life, but Tata was there for me the entire time. She stayed with us at the hospital, helped me feel grounded, and advocated for me when I needed it the most.
