This was my first pregnancy and I knew early I wanted a doula; however, time got away from me and I began my search late 2nd/early 3rd tri. It would have been amazing to have Julie as my doula sooner, but timing brought me to her regardless. I felt so comfortable speaking with her. She provided support and encouragement both pre and post partum. I would not have labored home for 16 hours if it wasn't for Julie. I had no idea what I was navigating physically! Upon arrival to the hospital (we got there and I basically began pushing), Julie knew everything I needed without even asking. I'm most greatful to have her postpartum as I was less prepared for lactation struggles and the baby blues. If I choose to have a doula again, I know exactly who I will go to. Julie, you are amazing!
