For anyone searching for a doula to educate you on childbirth and support you during pregnancy/birth, I HIGHLY suggest Mrs.Pam with YourBirthHelper!! I found out I was pregnant and quickly realized I didn't really know anything about birth, so I searched for a doula. After talking to 2-3 in my area, I found Pam and instantly knew she was the one I wanted to be my doula. Best. Decision. Ever. My partner and I took her childbirth classes where we learned so much about the birth process as well as how to support your body during pregnancy. Unfortunately due to complications with BP and an abnormally shaped uterus, I had to let go of my natural birth plan to have a C section. Even if I knew the outcome in the beginning, I still would have wanted Pam as my doula. She was so supportive throughout my pregnancy, answering every call/text, helping me learn to ask questions and advocate my wishes/concerns, going on walks at the local park, she even helped me with breastfeeding, and continued to check in with me after birth! She seriously goes above and beyond for her clients and I couldnt be more thankful for her! If I ever have another baby, she will be my first call.
