We are first time parents and had a high risk pregnancy and knew we wanted a doula for support and found Leyre after searching for one with bilingual capabilities. Leyre was professional, knowledgeable, and personable from first contact. We knew immediately that we wanted to work with her. She went through the process with us step by step- we even took a childbirth class after meeting with her that we found we didn’t need because she had been so thorough. Every question we asked was met with an extremely well-informed response. At the hospital she brought a sense of calm and relaxation and really supported our birth plan until the end (which wound up in an unplanned c section due to a face-presenting baby). She flew into action to ensure our birth plan was adhered to and worked extremely well with our nurses and midwives. Her communication from start to finish, including post partum has been top notch.
