Christine was both my birth doula and postpartum night doula, and I can’t imagine my experience without her. After a difficult birth, the continuity of care she provided meant so much to me, and having her there the first night we got home from the hospital was so comforting. Since she already knew everything I’d been through, those early days were a lot less overwhelming.
Christine was such a grounding presence from the start. She supported me through prodromal labor and continued to show up exactly when and how we needed her. One moment that really stands out is when she helped my husband feed our baby colostrum after I unexpectedly had to go to the OR. She also did an amazing job advocating for me while working seamlessly with the nurses and midwife, which helped me feel safe and truly cared for.
We built a deep level of trust really quickly, which says so much about who Christine is. She brings warmth and patience to everything she does and is also super thoughtful, flexible, and communicative. The guidance she gave us was practical and tailored to our family, and it made us feel confident and empowered even after our time with her ended.
I also really appreciated how thorough and attentive she is. Her nightly recaps and birth notes were so helpful, and the post-birth debrief gave me space to process everything and feel validated.
Plus, we bonded over shared interests like Taylor Swift and our dogs, which made it feel like I was going through the experience with a close friend or sister :)
Christine is an incredibly compassionate and capable doula. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for birth or postpartum support!
