you can spend years building a relationship with someone and still not know if they will show up in your birth space the way you need them to. i spent a mere couple of hours with Charity before giving birth to my first baby but it was as if we had actually spent countless hours together. she brought not only a calming presence to our space but also knowledge, confidence, maternal wisdom and a caring touch. things got a little hairy at times but she and my husband never wavered. she advocated for us and guided us when i needed her to and stood witness when i needed to navigate things on my own. i can’t say enough good things about Charity and truly believe she would be a good fit for anyone. thank you, again, for being such a wonderful part of our birth story. i hope we get to do it again in the future. :)
