I had an incredible experience working with Adriana, as my birth Doula! I found her in my 2nd trimester & immediately felt her warm compassionate and motherly energy; it was a perfect fit for me. She was able to provide all the visits, education & well checks offered by her services before my due date despite a shorter time than typical to work together. She also went above & beyond when baby was breech going into my 3rd trimester and was able to support me through the ECV procedure.
I felt prepared for birth & how to navigate the hospital system to achieve the birth plan I wanted because of her knowledge, expertise and decades of experiences. As a FTM I can't make a true comparison, but I do also believe both my 3rd trimester and early postpartum recovery were so manageable due to the wellness plans she prepared and I followed.
While she does have a backup Doula, Adriana made sure she was available and present when baby was ready to start his birth journey. It was kismet that I was delivering at SPUH & she worked there. She provided extra-level VIP care & was truly the mother-energy I needed in the absence of mine (on earth). I am so grateful timing aligned the way it did to match us together in this way.
Beyond delivery, Adriana offered so much more of her time & knowledge with postpartum care, lactation consulting and continued resources to ease me into motherhood. I am so grateful for her priceless generosity.
I highly recommend working with Adriana as both a birth & postpartum Doula. If I experience another pregnancy, she will be my first phone call. She was by far the most important part of my village & positive birthing experience!
