Testimonial for Jin Moon
As a doula who hoped to deliver at a birth center and ended up with an induction in a hospital, creating as an environment where I felt safe was extremely important to me. Jin’s presence was paramount to this. In our prenatals we built our connection as Jin learned how I desired to be supported. During my birth, Jin was with me in the moments of calm— with laughter, loving touch, and words of affirmation. They also were with me in the moments of chaos--- helping me breathe, bringing my focus back to my body, helping me find a sense of safety. When my baby had to head to the NICU and my partner went with them, Jin was right by my side and their words were my only comfort. To feel so known and loved and safe in such a vulnerable time was so incredibly healing. As difficult as my birth was, having Jin there meant that I had beautiful moments to look back on and cherish. My partner and I will forever be grateful for the honor of having Jin as a part of our birthing experience.
